Held during the game between the Miami Marlins and the Washington Nationals, the celebration brought together the South Florida Dominican community to showcase the nation’s culture, music, gastronomy, and traditions.

As primary sponsors, Arajet and the Ministry of Tourism organized interactive fan experiences throughout the stadium, including promotional giveaways, flight ticket sweepstakes, and pre-game musical performances by Dominican dancers and live bands at the West Plaza. The event featured a Heritage Parade on the field and concluded with a post-game concert by renowned Dominican artist Toño Rosario.

Manuel Luna, Chief Communications Officer of Arajet, highlighted that Miami has become the airline’s second most important U.S. route by passenger volume. Through its partnership with the Miami Marlins, the carrier continues to strengthen ties with the diaspora, providing direct routes connecting Miami to Santo Domingo and Punta Cana, alongside onward connections across North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean.
