Arajet Strengthens Dominican Aviation Team with New Pilots and Cabin Crew. Arajet, the flag carrier of the Dominican Republic, has graduated and hired a new class of Dominican First Officers and cabin crew members as part of its strategy to develop the national aviation workforce. The initiative aims to create specialized training and employment opportunities for local professionals while supporting the airline’s operational growth and route expansion.

Through its Cadet Program, established in partnership with Boeing, Arajet sponsors full scholarships valued at over $300,000 per cadet to cover flight training and type-rating qualifications. Graduates are guaranteed direct employment with the airline upon successful completion. The latest cohort of First Officers joining the carrier includes Adrián De Jesús Troncoso Sosa, Aníbal José Báez Alcántara, Emmanuel Neftaly López Peña, and Emerson Ernesto Nang Cruz.

In addition, Arajet trained and hired 18 new Dominican cabin crew members through a fully funded company program. Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO and Founder of Arajet, emphasized that the airline’s expansion is designed to drive professional development and strengthen the domestic aviation ecosystem. By investing in local technical and operational talent, the carrier continues to build a robust workforce to support its growing network across the Americas.
