Allegiant Expands Michigan Operations with New Non-Stop Florida Routes from Flint. Allegiant Travel Company has announced two new year-round, non-stop routes from Bishop International Airport (FNT) in Flint, Michigan, to Orlando and Fort Myers, Florida. Scheduled to begin operations in February 2027, these new services will provide passengers with direct access to two of the state’s top leisure destinations. The route connecting Flint with Orlando International Airport (MCO) will start on February 10, 2027, while service to Fort Myers via Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) will launch on February 11. To mark the launch, the airline will offer limited-time promotional one-way fares starting at $69.

In addition to these new connections, Allegiant is expanding flight frequencies on two existing routes from Flint to Florida in response to strong market demand. Service to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) will feature flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting February 10, 2027. Meanwhile, operations to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays beginning February 11. This expansion solidifies Flint‘s role as a key base for Allegiant while expanding flight choices for travelers across the Mid-Michigan region.

Drew Wells, Chief Commercial Officer at Allegiant, highlighted that the expansion will offer greater schedule flexibility and value for travelers flying between Michigan and Florida. Similarly, Nino Sapone, CEO of Flint Bishop International Airport, underscored the airline’s sustained investment and the positive impact these new routes will bring to local passengers. With these additions, Allegiant continues to build out its business model of linking small and medium-sized communities directly to high-demand leisure destinations, eliminating layovers and serving vacation-bound travelers.
