Star Alliance Lounge at Paris-CDG Voted World’s Best for Third Consecutive Year. The Star Alliance lounge at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport was once again named the World’s Best Airline Alliance Lounge at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2026. The alliance’s lounge at Los Angeles International Airport claimed second place, securing the top two spots in the category for Star Alliance.

This recognition marks the third consecutive win for the Paris lounge since its opening in October 2023, continuing a decade of industry accolades for Star Alliance lounges worldwide. The award was presented during a ceremony held at The Langham Hotel in London, which gathered leaders and executives from the global aviation sector.
“We are incredibly proud that our Paris-Charles de Gaulle lounge has been recognized as the World’s Best Airline Alliance Lounge for the third consecutive year, and that our Los Angeles lounge took second place,” stated Ambar Franco, Vice President of Customer Experience at Star Alliance.
She added that the alliance strives to make every touchpoint intuitive, welcoming, and connected to deliver a seamless multi-carrier travel experience. Located in Terminal 1 of Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, the 1,300-square-meter lounge blends contemporary design with distinct elements of France‘s culture. The space features dedicated areas for relaxation, work, and dining, alongside a welcome bar, an immersive section inspired by French wine culture, and views of the runway.

The Skytrax World Airline Awards are based on an independent international survey determined by passenger votes worldwide. “These awards highlight Star Alliance’s ongoing efforts to deliver a well-coordinated airport experience that appeals to today’s international travelers,” said Edward Plaisted, Chief Executive Officer of Skytrax.
Currently, 21 Star Alliance member airlines operate at Paris: Aegean Airlines, Air Canada, Air China, Air India, ANA, Asiana Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Avianca, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, EGYPTAIR, Ethiopian Airlines, EVA Air, ITA Airways, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, SWISS, THAI, Turkish Airlines, and United Airlines. Combined, they operate over 800 weekly flights to more than 30 destinations across over 20 countries.
