Aer Lingus Completes Starlink Installation Across Its Narrowbody Transatlantic Fleet. Aer Lingus has completed the installation of complimentary high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi across its entire narrowbody transatlantic fleet. The Irish carrier now offers gate-to-gate connectivity on over 10 routes to North America, allowing passengers to browse the web, connect multiple devices, and stream content at 35,000 feet.

The retrofits were carried out by Aer Lingus‘ Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) teams across the airline’s eight Airbus A321LR and six Airbus A321XLR aircraft. Completed in just over two months, the installation required only 12 hours per aircraft and was conducted in-house at Dublin Airport‘s Hangar 6. Passengers traveling to Newark, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Nashville, Indianapolis, Hartford, and Raleigh-Durham can now access the service throughout their flight. Additionally, flights from Shannon to Boston and New York-JFK are operated using Starlink-equipped aircraft.

Following this milestone, Aer Lingus will proceed with installing Starlink on its widebody Airbus A330 fleet, with full rollout across its transatlantic fleet expected before the end of 2026. According to the airline, passenger feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with travelers connecting multiple devices simultaneously and enjoying speeds comparable to or faster than home connections.
“Completing the Starlink rollout across our narrowbody transatlantic fleet marks a major milestone for Aer Lingus,” stated Susanne Carberry, Chief Customer Officer at Aer Lingus.
Concurrently, the airline is offering a promotional campaign through September 29, 2026, featuring transatlantic round-trip fares starting from €199 per leg.
