LATAM to Restore Direct Nonstop Flights Between Santiago and Caracas Starting January 2027. LATAM Airlines Group has announced the return of direct flights connecting Santiago de Chile‘s Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL) with Caracas‘s Simón Bolívar International Airport (CCS) in Venezuela. Nonstop operations are scheduled to begin on January 3, 2027. The route will feature four weekly frequencies operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with an average block time of 6 hours and 40 minutes per leg.

The airline will deploy its Airbus A320neo fleet on the route, configured with 174 total passenger seats. The cabin layout features 12 seats in Economy Premium alongside 162 seats in standard Economy. Under this schedule, LATAM projects carrying over 50,000 passengers during the first full year of service on the new South American corridor.
- ✈ According to published operational schedules, flight LA644 will depart Santiago at 14:30 local time, landing in Caracas at 20:10.
- ✈ On the return sector, flight LA645 is scheduled to leave Caracas at 22:30, arriving back in the Chilean capital at 06:00 the following morning.

The upcoming service complements LATAM Airlines Colombia‘s existing daily operation between Bogotá and Caracas, strengthening the airline group’s commercial footprint in Venezuela. The added route connects Venezuelan passenger traffic to the group’s extensive regional network, which currently reaches 164 global destinations across 27 countries and four continents. Juan José Tohá, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Director at LATAM Airlines Group, emphasized that the operation aims to integrate Venezuela with the airline’s key hub airports across South America.
