Embraer and LATAM Airlines Group have signed a Joint Component Program agreement to support the introduction of 24 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft ordered by the airline group. The order also includes 50 additional purchase options, which would allow LATAM to expand its fleet in line with its growth plans.
The agreement will provide comprehensive component support through Embraer’s Pool Program, aiming to optimize aircraft availability and ensure greater operational reliability as LATAM expands its operations.

The program covers more than 300 components across various E195-E2 systems. Services include component exchange, repair and overhaul solutions, and the availability of a selected inventory of parts at LATAM’s facilities in Brazil.
According to Embraer, this arrangement helps reduce repair and component storage costs, lower the need for airlines to maintain their own inventories, and leverage economies of scale. The program also operates under a framework of guaranteed performance levels.
Carlos Naufel, President and CEO of Embraer Services & Support, highlighted that the agreement represents an important step in preparing LATAM to introduce the new aircraft type into its fleet. He noted that the goal is to provide a robust and cost-effective support solution from the start of operations, ensuring high levels of aircraft availability and reliability.

The introduction of the E195-E2 is part of LATAM’s growth strategy, which seeks to expand its operational capabilities with aircraft offering lower capacity than the group’s traditional narrowbody jets, particularly in markets where demand calls for a more tailored level of capacity.
With this agreement, Embraer strengthens its relationship with LATAM and establishes the after-sales support needed to facilitate the future entry into service of the aircraft. The combination of a firm order for 24 units and 50 purchase options leaves the door open for further fleet expansion in the coming years.
