As a result, two aircraft —identified as flights LA572 from Santiago and AV9366 from Cali— were required to perform go-around maneuvers. This standard aviation procedure ensures safe separation between aircraft when any risk is detected during the landing phase. The situation led to temporary delays in airport operations, affecting both arrivals and departures.

Aerocivil reported that normal operations resumed at around 5:44 a.m. However, authorities emphasized that the improper use of drones near airports represents a serious threat to aviation safety.
