In this context, Renée Boisvert, Vice President of Tour Operator Product at Transat, stated that these additions significantly strengthen the company’s southern destination portfolio. She emphasized that the partnership with Porter expands access to high-demand markets such as Nassau and George Town, while giving travelers more options to tailor their trips. For destinations already served by both airlines, including Cancún and Puerto Vallarta, the packages now include expanded flight choices operated by either carrier, improving convenience and overall travel experience.

Meanwhile, Edmond Eldebs, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Porter Airlines, noted that the partnership has reached a new milestone. Following Porter’s successful entry into traditional leisure markets with a flight-only product, the introduction of bundled packages offers Canadian travelers a more seamless way to enjoy Porter’s premium flying experience combined with Transat’s vacation expertise. The new packages will be available from Toronto, Ottawa, and Hamilton for travel starting November 1, 2026. Ultimately, this collaboration—launched in late 2023—continues to evolve, integrating complementary networks and strengthening connectivity between North America and international leisure destinations.
