Emirates to Deploy Airbus A380 on Delhi Route and Expand Premium Economy Across India.Emirates has announced that it will introduce its flagship Airbus A380 on the Dubai–Delhi route starting 25 October, making the Indian capital the airline’s third destination in the country served by the iconic double-decker aircraft, alongside Mumbai and Bengaluru. The A380 will operate flights EK512/513 in a four-class configuration, complementing the airline’s three other daily services between Dubai and Delhi, which are operated by retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft featuring First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class. With this deployment, Premium Economy will be available on all daily flights between Dubai and Delhi, offering passengers larger leather seats, greater legroom, enhanced dining served on fine china and an upgraded onboard experience.

Emirates is also expanding its Premium Economy product to additional Indian destinations. From 25 October, the airline’s daily Kolkata–Dubai service, EK570/571, will be operated by the Airbus A350, introducing the cabin on the route for the first time. In addition, flights EK572/573, operated five times per week by a four-class Boeing 777, will also feature Premium Economy, bringing the product to all 12 weekly flights between Kolkata and Dubai. By the end of October, Premium Economy will be available on services to Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Kochi. According to Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, the expansion reflects the airline’s long-term commitment to India and responds to the strong demand for travel between the country and Dubai.

Beyond onboard enhancements, Emirates continues to invest in the customer experience across India. The airline recently opened new travel stores in Delhi and Mumbai and plans additional locations in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, along with a dedicated customer contact centre in Mumbai. Emirates currently operates 167 weekly flights to nine Indian gateways, connecting travellers through Dubai to a global network of nearly 140 destinations worldwide.
