The large-scale familiarization trip (Mega Fam Trip), taking place from October 20 to October 25, 2026, aims to showcase the destination’s beaches, hotel infrastructure, regional gastronomy, and commercial opportunities to commercial travel buyers across the Americas. The marketing blitz serves as the promotional runway for the launch of Copa Airlines‘ new scheduled passenger service between Tocumen International Airport (PTY) and Porlamar (PMV), officially commencing on November 26, 2026, with three weekly flights operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

With the addition of Porlamar, Copa Airlines expands its operational network to six scheduled destinations across Venezuela, complementing its active services to Caracas, Maracaibo, Valencia, Barquisimeto, and Barcelona. Maintaining 29 years of continuous commercial operations in the country, the airline reinforces its position as the foreign carrier with the largest passenger capacity and flight network serving the Venezuelan market.
