Copa Airlines suma una quinta frecuencia semanal entre Panamá y Barcelona

Copa Airlines to Add Fifth Weekly Frequency Between Panama City and Barcelona, Venezuela. Beginning November 16, 2026, Copa Airlines will expand its scheduled air links to eastern Venezuela by introducing a fifth weekly flight frequency between Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City and General José Antonio Anzoátegui International Airport (BLA) in Barcelona. The capacity ramp-up addresses sustained passenger travel demand throughout Anzoátegui state and surrounding territories, optimizing connecting itineraries abroad.

Under the expanded flight schedule, operations linking both commercial airports will run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays under the following local timetables:

  • ✈ Flight CM100: Departs Panama City at 09:35, arriving in Barcelona at 13:18.
  • ✈ Flight CM492: Departs Barcelona at 14:28, touching down in Panama City at 16:20.

The deployment will inject approximately 1,300 additional passenger seats per month into the city pair, channeling regional air traffic directly into the carrier’s Hub of the Americas in Panama, which provides onward connections to more than 85 international destinations across North America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. Roberto Pulido, General Manager for Copa Airlines in Venezuela, underlined that sustained market growth in Barcelona motivated the frequency expansion to broaden travel options for regional customers.
