Porter Airlines Launches Nonstop Ottawa–Hamilton Flights, Strengthening Connectivity in Ontario. Porter Airlines has launched its new nonstop service between Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM), expanding domestic air travel options within Canada. The airline is now the only carrier offering direct flights between the two cities, with two daily frequencies operated by De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft configured with 78 seats. The new route is designed to support both business and leisure travel between Canada’s capital and one of Southern Ontario’s most important economic regions.

In addition to the direct service, Porter continues to differentiate itself through its onboard experience, which includes no middle seats on any aircraft, complimentary beer and wine served in glassware, and a selection of premium snacks. Flights depart Ottawa at 8:35 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., while departures from Hamilton are scheduled for 10:25 a.m. and 6:35 p.m., all local times. The route also provides convenient connections through Ottawa to destinations across Atlantic Canada, including Charlottetown, Fredericton, and Moncton.

The addition of this service further strengthens Hamilton’s role as a gateway to major tourism and business destinations in Ontario, including Niagara Falls and the province’s renowned wine region. With the introduction of flights to Ottawa and Montréal Metropolitan Airport, travelers in the Hamilton area now have access to 13 nonstop destinations across Porter’s network. The airline is also reinforcing its regional presence as the only carrier operating from all three major airports in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area: Hamilton, Toronto Pearson, and Toronto City Airport, providing customers with greater flexibility and travel options.
