SKY Expands Its Domestic Network in Peru with New Routes to Cajamarca and Talara. SKY Airline continues to strengthen its presence in the Peruvian market with the launch of two new domestic routes connecting Lima with Cajamarca and Talara. As part of its 2026 growth strategy, the airline announced the start of ticket sales for both destinations, expanding its domestic network to 17 cities. Through June 26, passengers can access promotional launch fares starting at US$31 (S/105) for Cajamarca and US$45 (S/153) for Talara, aimed at boosting connectivity and supporting regional development.

The Lima–Cajamarca route will begin operations on September 1, 2026, with daily flights. SKY expects to transport nearly 9,000 passengers per month on the service, which is designed to meet growing demand from a region recognized for its historical, cultural, mining, and agricultural importance. Meanwhile, the Lima–Talara route will launch on October 2, 2026, operating on a seasonal basis through February 28, 2027. The service will primarily target leisure travelers, providing easier access to northern Peru’s popular beach destinations, including Máncora, Vichayito, Los Órganos, and Punta Sal.

According to José Raúl Vargas, General Manager of SKY in Peru, the addition of Cajamarca and Talara reflects the airline’s confidence in the potential of the local market and the growth opportunities available in the country. The carrier is also preparing to launch services to Chiclayo on July 13, further strengthening its domestic network. With the addition of these three destinations, SKY expects to increase the number of passengers carried in Peru by approximately 10% during 2026, consolidating its position as the country’s second-largest airline.
