The service to Raleigh-Durham will link Mexico directly with the Research Triangle, one of the leading technology and innovation hubs in the country, while Boston provides a direct connection to a primary academic and financial center. Meanwhile, Nashville opens up access to one of the fastest-growing markets in the American South. With these additions, Guadalajara will surpass 65 destinations within the Volaris network, further consolidating its role as the airline’s main hub.
In addition to the new destinations, Volaris is advancing the launch date to October 1 for four routes originally scheduled for December: Querétaro to Las Vegas, Puebla to Chicago O’Hare, Guadalajara to Washington Dulles, and Guadalajara to Atlanta. These additions will bring Volaris to 28 U.S. cities, solidifying its position as the carrier with the largest selection of destinations and seats between both nations to serve leisure, business, and visiting friends and relatives (VFR) travel.

Michelle Fridman Hirsch, Secretary of Tourism for Jalisco, noted that this expansion represents major progress for the state by expanding direct links with key markets such as Washington, Atlanta, Raleigh, Boston, and Nashville. Furthermore, Holger Blankenstein, Executive Vice President of Commercial and Operations at Volaris, stressed that the airline remains focused on its long-term strategy to drive connectivity across North, Central, and South America. Tickets are already on sale across Volaris channels, with introductory fares starting at US$90 for new international routes and domestic services starting at 49 Mexican pesos.
