LATAM Airlines Paraguay has announced the launch of a new non-stop route connecting Asunción and Montevideo, scheduled to begin operations on December 28, 2026. Operating five times weekly, the service is designed to serve peak summer demand across leisure, corporate, and family travel segments.

The route will be operated using Airbus A320 aircraft configured to seat 174 passengers, with flights running on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
- ✈ Flight LA1322 is scheduled to depart Asunción at 11:30 and arrive in Montevideo at 13:10.
- ✈ On the return leg, flight LA1323 will take off from the Uruguayan capital at 15:20, landing in Asunción at 16:55.

With this expansion, Montevideo becomes LATAM‘s fourth direct international destination from Paraguay, joining existing services to its hubs in Santiago de Chile, São Paulo, and Lima. Javier Ocampo, CEO of LATAM Paraguay, noted that the airline expects to offer over 7,000 monthly seats on the new route. By eliminating the need for regional layovers, the direct service aims to boost trade, business links, and tourism between Paraguay and Uruguay.
