JetBlue Launches Daily Nonstop Flights Between Fort Lauderdale and Barranquilla. JetBlue has inaugurated daily nonstop service connecting Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) with Barranquilla‘s Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport (BAQ), linking South Florida with Colombia‘s Caribbean coast. With this route launch, Barranquilla becomes the carrier’s fourth destination in Colombia, joining Medellín and Cartagena, ahead of its planned route expansion to Cali (CLO) in late October 2026.

The service is operated using Airbus A320 aircraft configured with the airline’s Main cabin product, which offers free high-speed Fly-Fi Wi-Fi, seatback entertainment with live television, and complimentary snacks and drinks. Flight 1957 departs Fort Lauderdale at 11:05 and arrives in Barranquilla at 12:55, while the return segment (flight 1958) leaves Barranquilla at 14:05, landing in Fort Lauderdale at 17:56 local time.

Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President of Revenue, Network, and Enterprise Planning at JetBlue, stated that the addition of Barranquilla reinforces Fort Lauderdale‘s position as a key gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean, with introductory one-way fares starting at US$134.
