Air France Expands U.S. Network with New Nonstop Flights to Nashville and San Diego. French flag carrier Air France has announced an expansion of its transatlantic network for the Summer 2027 operational season, adding two new direct routes to the United States. The airline will introduce non-stop service connecting its global hub at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) with Nashville International Airport (BNA) in Tennessee and San Diego International Airport (SAN) in California.

Both long-haul corridors will operate with three weekly frequencies. Air France plans to deploy its modern fleet of Airbus A350-900 widebody aircraft on both routes. The deployment of the A350-900 delivers enhanced fuel efficiency, a lower noise footprint, and reduced carbon emissions, while featuring the carrier’s latest cabin interiors across Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class.

The addition of Nashville to the airline’s North American map taps into the city’s booming economy, cultural prominence, and growing status as a major commercial center in the American South. Concurrently, launching service to San Diego restores a vital long-haul connection to Southern California, serving a high-demand market driven by life sciences, military defense, technology, and international leisure travel.

These new additions strengthen Air France‘s commercial position across North America while expanding feed for its transatlantic joint venture with SkyTeam partner Delta Air Lines. By linking Nashville and San Diego directly to Paris-Charles de Gaulle, the airline provides travelers from both U.S. regions with seamless single-stop connectivity to broader destinations across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
