Aerolíneas Argentinas announced that in the early hours of Sunday, “The Most Argentine Aircraft in the World” departed for Kansas City. The specially painted Airbus A330, featuring a design inspired by the Argentine National Football Team, transported the national squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The aircraft flew to the city where Argentina will establish its base camp for the first three matches of the tournament’s group stage. As part of its special operation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Aerolíneas Argentinas will operate up to 19 weekly flights to Miami, in addition to special services to Kansas City and Dallas, supporting the increased passenger demand generated by the competition. The special livery applied to the Airbus A330, registration LV-KAN, was recently unveiled at Hangar 5 in Ezeiza under the concept #TheMostArgentineAircraftInTheWorld.

The design features the iconic number 10 and the official Argentine national team jersey pattern developed by Adidas on the aircraft’s tail, symbolically representing the team’s leadership through the aircraft’s rudder. The livery also includes the captain’s armband design on the engines and the three stars commemorating Argentina’s FIFA World Cup titles.
#TheMostArgentineAircraftInTheWorld will soon begin operating on various international routes across the airline’s network, accompanying Argentine fans traveling to the World Cup while also serving other destinations operated by the carrier.
