The authority stated that, thanks to the swift response of the Colombian Aerospace Force, the National Army of Colombia, and the National Police of Colombia, the area was secured and both technical staff and security personnel were protected. All personnel working at the site were reported safe and remain under continuous monitoring. Despite the damage, Aerocivil assured that air operations across the country will continue safely and efficiently, supported by the robustness, redundancy, and resilience of communication, navigation, and surveillance systems.
