“Punctuality is a key part of the experience we want to deliver to our passengers. These results reflect the ongoing commitment of our teams to optimize processes and anticipate operational challenges,” said Daniel Belaunde, CEO of SKY Airline.
He added that maintaining the top position throughout the first half of the year serves as motivation to continue raising the airline’s operational standards. The June performance adds to a series of recent milestones for the carrier, including leading OAG’s punctuality ranking in January and setting a new record in March, when Cirium reported a 94.12% on-time performance, the highest monthly punctuality rate achieved by any airline worldwide during that period.
