Specifically, 266,826 passengers traveled abroad directly from regional terminals without connecting through Buenos Aires. This figure represents a 15% increase compared to July 2025, a 72% rise compared to 2024, and a 111% surge versus 2023 levels. The data highlights a sustained trend toward greater decentralization of international air traffic.
Growth was particularly significant in Tucumán, which recorded a 208% year-over-year increase in international passengers. Rosario grew by 25%, Bariloche by 21%, Mendoza by 4%, and Córdoba by 3%. The addition of new direct routes stands out as a key driver behind this regional expansion.
