Arajet receives its 15th aircraft from Boeing. Arajet officially received its fifteenth aircraft from Boeing during a delivery ceremony held at the manufacturer’s Everett Delivery Center in Seattle, United States. The new aircraft, named “Isla Catalina,” represents another important milestone in the airline’s rapid expansion strategy as it continues strengthening its position as one of the fastest-growing carriers in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The delivery ceremony included representatives from Arajet as well as Dominican aviation and airport authorities. Manuel Luna, the airline’s Head of Communications and Public Relations, received the aircraft on behalf of the company. Dominican government officials attending the event included Héctor Porcella, president of the Civil Aviation Board; Víctor Pichardo, director of the Airport Department; and Paola Plá representing the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC). During the ceremony, Luna stated that the addition of the aircraft brings the airline closer to its vision of connecting North, Central, and South America while positioning the Dominican Republic as a major regional aviation hub.

The new aircraft is scheduled to arrive in the Dominican Republic next Monday and will immediately enter commercial service, increasing the airline’s operational capacity and supporting its continued network expansion. Authorities highlighted the importance of Arajet’s fleet growth for boosting commercial aviation, tourism, trade, and connectivity throughout the country. With the incorporation of “Isla Catalina,” Arajet continues advancing its long-term strategy of developing the Dominican Republic into a strategic air hub for the Americas while offering efficient and competitive low-cost travel options across the region.
