In this context, the agreement builds on the existing joint venture relationship between Delta and the LATAM group, expanding cooperation into engineering and technical support. Currently, Delta TechOps provides advanced maintenance services to LATAM’s fleet from its Atlanta facilities, including engine MRO for Airbus A320neo and Boeing 787 aircraft. At the same time, LATAM Airlines Brasil contributes through its MRO center in São Carlos, where it already supports Delta with component repair services. Therefore, this partnership leverages complementary strengths, enabling both companies to optimize resources and enhance operational efficiency.
