According to Jorge Jiménez, Wingo’s Vice President of Commercial and Planning, the new route reflects the airline’s commitment to expanding connectivity between Colombia and Venezuela, particularly to high-demand leisure destinations. Margarita Island has historically been a favorite Caribbean getaway for Colombian travelers, and the airline aims to make the destination more accessible through a direct, efficient, and affordable service.
